We provide Townsville’s only wheelchair hire vehicles. We provide short- and long-term hire options to help get you mobile in North Queensland.

There are many reasons you may need to hire a wheelchair accessible vehicle, from travel to short-term car replacement while yours is being repaired or serviced. At Mobility Modifications Services, we have four wheelchair hire vehicles for hire or lease from Townsville.

Things to consider when hiring one of our mobility vehicles:

• Wheelchair – measure length from the end of the footplates to the rear of the wheelchair. Then measure the width of the wheelchair from outside rim to outside rim.
• Wheelchair anchor point requirements – 4 or 6.
• Height of person in the wheelchair – measure from ground to top of head or highest point.
• Weight of person in the chair (this determines type of vehicle as the ramps are rated).

**We also provide a complementary meet and greet at the Townsville Airport, with your hire vehicle, if you are coming from out of town.
